Collaborates with subject matter experts and instructors to develop training content based on business needs.
Analyzes training needs for the purpose of identifying target audience and developing learning objectives.
Produces engaging digital learning content based upon instructional design and adult learning methodology.
Creates eLearning storyboards using Microsoft Power Point and builds associated courses using Adobe Captivate.
Develops training collaterals – instructor guides, job aids, learning assessments, etc. – for use in training courses.
Revises existing courses to meet the needs of target audiences based on feedback from various stakeholders.
Explore new technologies and apply them – where applicable – to enhance the existing learning portfolio.
Maintains flexibility; assists with ad-hoc content development assignments as requested.
Collaborates with technical writers to identify content needs.
Associate degree in Adult Education, HR Development, or an equivalent/relevant degree.
Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory; performs instructional design tasks under limited supervision.
3+ years of instructional design experience, preferably related directly IT.
2+ years of storyboarding experience and creating eLearning content in Adobe Captivate.
Exceptional writing skills sufficient for the development of training courses and associated learning materials.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, SharePoint, Visio, and Word).
Ability to positively influence others, build/maintain working relationships, and collaborate across an organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, HR Development, or an equivalent/relevant degree.
5+ years of instructional design experience, preferably related preferably related directly IT.
3+ years of storyboarding experience and creating eLearning content in Adobe Captivate.
