Conducts needs analyses, designs learning solutions, and develops training using instructional design methodology. Revises existing courses to ensure their relevance to target audiences. Reports to the training development supervisor.
Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructors to determine training needs and delivery strategies.
Develops instructor-led training and eLearning courses based upon accepted instructional design methodology.
Creates eLearning storyboards using Microsoft Power Point and builds associated courses using Adobe Captivate.
Develops training collaterals – instructor guides, job aids, learning assessments, etc. – for use in training courses.
Revises existing courses to meet the needs of target audiences based on feedback from various stakeholders.
Performs instructional design tasks under direct supervision.
Associate’s degree in Adult Education, Business Administration, HR Development, or an equivalent/relevant degree.
2+ years of direct technical experience with video security technology (both hardware and software).
1+ years of training delivery and instructional design experience related directly to video security solutions.
Exceptional writing skills sufficient for the development of training courses and associated learning materials.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, SharePoint, Visio, and Word).
Ability to positively influence others, build/maintain working relationships, and collaborate across an organization.
Ability to travel as required by the needs of the business; estimated travel is less than 10 percent.
